Waiting around to die by the Be Good Tanyas with Norm Hardie's Pinot Noir

I have my good friend Chris Porter to thank for introducing me to the Be Good Tanyas. Not the most cheerful subject matter (it's about an execution), but I love the arrangement, especially that banjo, the husky lead vocal and the harmonies. As the trio comes from Canada, I'd partner it with the 2012 Norman Hardie Unfiltered Pinot Noir, Price Edward County (£23, 11.5%, The Wine Society
